As a child, Illig was raised splitting his time between life on the island Nevis (West Indies) and a peninsula on the Great Lakes.
Among the many corporate marks he's developed over the years, Illig designed the brand that came to define Target and Walmart rival, Meijer during it's booming growth years. A mark so recognizable, it held as is for nearly two decades--an epic run in terms of brand longevity.
